Motrin is used for relief of the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. Motrin is available in the form of tablets. You can take this medicine to relieve mild to moderate pain. Motrin is also may be prescribed by your doctor to treat primary dysmenorrhea.
How Taken
You should not exceed 3200 mg total daily dose. If you have gastrointestinal toxicity, you should take Motrin Tablets with meal or milk.
Warnings and Precautions
You should not take Motrin if you have previously had hypersensitivity to this medicine, or have the syndrome of nasal polyps, angioedema and bronchospastic reactivity to aspirin or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents. Remember, that serious gastrointestinal toxicity such as bleeding, ulceration, and perforation, can occur at any time, with or without preliminary warning symptoms. While you take Motrin, you should tell your doctor immediately of any signs or symptoms of gastrointestinal ulceration or bleeding, blurred vision or other eye symptoms, skin rash, weight gain, or edema.
Missed Dose
If you happen to miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as you remember. Although, if it is close to the time to take the the next dose, you should skip the missed dose and return to your regular schedule. You should not take a double dose to compensate a missed one.

The most frequent type of adverse reactions you may experience when taking Motrin is gastrointestinal. Storage
You should store Motrin at controlled room temperature 68 to 77F (20 to 25C).
Overdose
If you happen to overdose, your stomach should be emptied by vomiting. You should also seek emergency medical assistance.
